Founded more than 13 years ago, Home2Office Computing Solutions, Inc. was originally formed to provide San Diego homeowners with best-of-breed home-office worker solutions. After years of providing various services to home-based workers, the company soon realized that the timing was not right. The required technology and tools were not readily available or affordable, adoption was slow, the model wouldn’t scale. Home2Office® adapted and organically evolved into one of San Diego's premiere outsourced IT solution companies for small and medium-size businesses.

Fast-forward to today, and Home2Office Computing Solutions, Inc. has become an award-winning, leading provider of IT solutions with a core talent pool of 25 engineers and a laser-sharp focus on client success.

In 2003, Home2Office Computing Solutions, Inc. migrated to a managed-services model for delivery and support of services for its customers throughout Southern California. This move proved critical in the evolution of Home2Office Computing Solutions’ business and client success. With new managed-services tools and infrastructure, the IT solutions company could better scale and better serve its clientele. This new services model, when coupled with Home2Office’s existing, world-class talent and project deployment methodology, proved extremely valuable in the companies ongoing success.

With the maturation of teleworking technology (bandwidth proliferation, collaborative tools, web 2.0) as well as a multitude of market accelerators, compelled Home2Office to revisit its original mission - set 13 years prior. Sensing the time was indeed ripe, Home2Office Computing Solutions, Inc. commissioned its own market research via partnership with a local university’s MBA program to assess the dynamic telecommuting markets viability. Key objectives for the study and market survey included; business ROI impact, productivity, moral as well as policy assessments and, most importantly, what the largest inhibitors to deploying a telework initiative might be at a business or organization.

Armed with empirical evidence - Home2Office®, seized the opportunity to emerge as the market leader in the new and rapidly developing, Managed Telecommute® space. Home2Office tapped its best-in-class services-delivery models, assessed its proprietary intellectual property (research and portal) and developed a totally unique solution to address both the needs of employers and employees. In August of 2006, Home2Office announced its latest managed service: The Managed Telecommute® and clientele in the commercial, non-profit and government sector have been seeking our expertise and proprietary solution ever since.
